Animal Collective – In The Flowers

Couldn’t help myself. This is the tune, which got me into MPP. Amazing.
—————————————-

A dancer who was high in a field from a moment
Caught my breath on my way home
Couldnt stop that spinning force
I fell into you
Everything drowns you to giggle
You are up with the flower and I care

So the dancer who gets wild to the deep reveling rhythm
But I am always away for weeks
that pass slow like mind gets lost
Feeling envy for the kid who danced in spite of anything
And were out in the flowers and feel better

If I could just leave my body for the night

Then we could be dancing no more missing you while I am gone
Then we could be dancing and youd smile and say I like this song
And then ours would meet them we will recognize nothings wrong
And I wouldnt feel so selfish I wont be this way very long
To hold you in time
To hold you in time
To hold you in time
To hold you in time

And were dancing, early hours drunken days finally ended
And the streets turn for pillowcase
And I fumble all good lie
Then the ecstasy turns the writhing light through our windowpane
Now I am gone, I left flowers for you there

Empty Spaces – What Shall We Do Now? – The Wall – Pink Floyd

March 92010

Awesome animation from Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Please Enjoy.

Please also feel free to browse through the lyrics, you might find somthing you didnt hear before!

“What Shall We Do Now”

What shall we use to fill the empty spaces
Where waves of hunger roar?
Shall we set out across the sea of faces
In search of more and more applause?
Shall we buy a new guitar?
Shall we drive a more powerful car?
Shall we work straight through the night?
Shall we get into fights?
Leave the lights on?
Drop bombs?
Do tours of the east?
contract diseases?
Bury bones?
Break up homes?
Send flowers by phone?
Take to drink?
Go to shrinks?
Give up meat?
Rarely sleep?
Keep people as pets?
Train dogs?
Race rats?
Fill the attic with cash?
Bury treasure?
Store up leisure?
But never relax at all
With our backs to the wall.

Made in Germany | Fleurop — a Century of Flowers

February 182010

More than 25 million people worldwide enjoy the services of Fleurop every year. Back in 1908, Max Hübner, a Berlin-based florist, had the idea of sending orders for fresh flowers to other florists, instead of the flowers themselves.

The global Fleurop network now joins some 50,000 partner florists in 150 countries. The flowers are delivered fresh, and the bills subsequently processed by the two florists involved. Fleurop is now celebrating its100th anniversary, even surviving Germany’s division, although eastern-style bouquets didn’t always match western wishes. Nowadays, in a modern communications world, it’s only a matter of hours between the order and those fresh flowers, delivered to your door. A report by Holger Trzeczak.

Radiohead – Last Flowers (Live at the Basement)

January 12010

Posted in flower | 25 Comments »

appliances have gone berserk
i cannot keep up
treading on people’s toes
snot-nosed little punk

and i can’t face the evening straight
you can offer me escape
houses move and houses speak
if you take me there you’ll get relief, relief, relief, relief

and if i’m gonna talk
i just want to talk
please don’t interrupt
just sit back and listen

cos i can’t face the evening straight
you can offer me escape
houses move and houses speak
if you take me there you’ll get relief, relief, relief, relief
relief, relief

it’s too much, too bright, too powerful
too much, too bright, too powerful
too much, too bright, too powerful
too much, too bright, too powerful

Fifth track of “IN RAINBOWS”, disc 2, by Radiohead.

The band had worked on In Rainbows for more than two years, beginning in early 2005. In between recording, the band toured Europe and North America for three months in mid-2006. The announcement of details about the album led to a flurry of media attention centered around the band’s decision to first release the album online as a digital download for which fans could decide the price they paid.

A special made-to-order “discbox”, available for pre-order through inrainbows.com, was released on 3 December 2007. It contains the album on CD and two 12″ heavyweight vinyl records with artwork and lyric booklets. The box includes a second enhanced CD which contains 8 additional tracks, as well as digital photos and artwork. The overall set is packaged in a hardcover book and slipcase. The discbox, priced at £40 (approx. US$80), also includes the MP3 download. Radiohead’s managers, however, claimed that the Internet-only distribution was intended only to boost sales of the physical album.
