to grow other plant’s and flowers in order to add more of these around the house and even to give as gifts too..thanks.

No, not ususally. A few will root and make plants, but most do not. Especially the ones you get in bouquets will not root and make more plants.

   You can divide established plants, make sure you have plenty of good roots attached.
   It is quite difficult to root the stems of bouquet flowers, but if you want to try remove the flower and use a rooting enzyme found at plant shops.
