I am planning to plant some flowers by my mail box and it will be a small flower bed and want to buy, those small fences that go around the flowers they look to be around 12-18 inches tall.

It’s called Edging. Most common that everybody carries is green metal edging. Then in your larger retail stores you’ll find stone edging and maybe plastic or wood fenced edging.

There are lot plants that can be used as hedges. You will have to prune them regularly. Pruning will make the growth dense and lively. Most of them are evergreen and require little care. Arrange them in beds with different varieties and colours for a magnificent look.

Examples are Duranta, Ficus, Iresene, Lantana and many others

They are called Decorative landscape Fencing or Edging. Go to your local Loews or Home-Depot and you will be offered a great selection. OR to save time you can order them online.
