homecoming dance is tomorrow & my son, at the last minute needs me to special order green tipped white roses for his girl. Is it rude for me to ask the florist, who is the only one in town, to get this together for me?
It isn’t rude to ask, but they might not be able to accommodate you. I’d imagine most of the other kids in town ordered their flowers through this florist, also. Just don’t get your hopes up.
Im looking for something to be able to harden flowers, or even petals, in order to use them for scrapbooking and such… some sort of clear, hard, but thin, & durable type of coating… ANY ideas what would work ??
My Aunt did that to her wedding bouquet… I’m not sure what she did to them; perhaps spray modge-podge on them?
But if you want to use them in scrapbooking, I suggest drying/flattening them first, and then doing the hardening thing.

Description:
Elliot and Olivia were a couple, but he breaks up with her in the very beginning of the video to go back to Kathy because that’s where he believes he belongs. Olivia accepts the break up and just tries to stay away from and let him do what he feels is best. Shortly after going back to Kathy, Elliot is shot and while he’s laying there believing he’s going to die, all he can see is Liv. How she would reacted when she found out he’s dead, how she’s been there for him all these years. It’s in those moments before he believes he’s going to die that he has a sense of clarity and realizes he made a huge mistaking leaving Liv and going back to Kathy.
Elliot wakes up in the hospital to find Kathy as his bedside and being all there for him. Liv is also at the hospital and see’s the site of Elliot and Kathy together and realizes she can’t stay around any longer and it’s just too painful. Olivia leaves for good, without saying a word to Elliot. Elliot is upset to find this out and realizes he’s missed his chance to tell her how he really feels about her.
He constantly thinks and analyzes his feelings for both Olivia and Kathy, but in the end he knows he has to end it with Kathy because his heart no longer belongs with her even though Olivia isn’t around anymore.
Olivia, has moved away and trying to start her life over again without Elliot. She goes on dates, is still working as a cop, and then she meets Porter. He’s the first and only guy she allows herself to open up to after leaving NY and Elliot. Porter, being a Fed, ends up needing to work with Olivia on a case. She’s in a semi-undercover operation, but things go wrong and Liv ends up a target. She realizes how in over her head is but isn’t feeling much support from Porter so she reaches out to Elliot.
Elliot gets wind of what’s going on when Liv tries to contact him and immediately rushes to help her. There’s several attempts made on her in the mean time between when she first reaches out and when he arrives. They agree to meet at the airport when Elliot arrives but they are taken by surprise when another hitman takes Liv at the airport. Elliot see’s this go down and you can pretty much infer the rest from here.

Side note: The scene where Elliot tells Liv he loves her is after she’s left NY and has met Porter. It’s why it causes such a strong reaction from her.

So I have been looking online at flowers that can be shipped for your wedding. They are alot cheaper and can come pre assembled or do it yoourself.. HAs anyone looked into this?
I’ve used Grower’s Box on multiple occasions for weddings and parties. We’ve never been disappointed and from experience they even include a few extra stems in case one or two are damaged, which is really nice. You can order an entire Wedding in a Box and arrange them yourself with very little help. I do however recommend picking up a book on floral design that talks about using oasis and doing hand-tying. I also recommend trying things out with grocery-store bought flowers ahead of time so you get an idea of what’s in store and whether or not you can acheive the look you want. Also, if storing the flowers, make sure you have a cooler that is the proper size and temperature or your flowers will be ruined. It is not a difficult task and if you are creative it can be a lot of fun!

No, not ususally. A few will root and make plants, but most do not. Especially the ones you get in bouquets will not root and make more plants.

How to buy roses for Valentine’s Day without paying too much
* Roses come in ten different grades and many different lengths; the higher the grade, the higher the price.
* A low-grade rose, like those at a grocery store, is not even bred to open and will never blossom. A rose from your florist has a big gorgeous head and will fully open, but it may cost $8 to $15 per rose.
* The longer the stem, the more youll pay. If you want high-grade roses, order them from a florist, but ask the florist for a shorter stem.
* If you dont want to spend a lot of money for your flowers, but you still want to buy roses, mix them with other flowers like carnations, ranunculus and tulips. But do remember that all red flowers will cost more on Valentines day.
* When you buy roses for a Valentine who lives in your town, order from a local florist. And if youre ordering flowers online, remember that shipping is going to cost you extra.
* Ask for no filler. Greens are okay, but babys breath is very uncool. And remember, you get what you pay for.
